1. Collection of personal information
Our customers also have the option of providing us with business and demographic information to enhance their customer surveys and reports. If provided, we will use this information to enhance the personalization of our website and services for the NuGuava customer and their solicited participants. If a user or solicited participant submits a testimonial to our Site, we may collect that personally identifiable information as well as the testimonial.
NuGuava has no intention of collecting any personal data from children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly solicit data from, or market to, children under 18 years of age.
2. How we use your information
The information NuGuava collects is used to comprehensively understand our customers’ needs and interests, and permits NuGuava to deliver a more consistent and personalized experience. For example, NuGuava may use information to:
- assist in completing a transaction or order;
- communicate with customers about our services, account status or billing issues;
- provide service and support;
- update customers on new services and benefits;
- provide personalized promotional offers;
- select content to be communicated with customers; and
- contact our customers for market research regarding NuGuava’s products or services.
Information from individual users may be aggregated with other user’s information on a purely non-identifiable basis to understand how our products are used to help make them better.
Credit card information is used solely for payment processing and fraud prevention efforts. NuGuava uses a payment gateway to handle credit card charges and does not routinely store full credit card numbers. NuGuava retains a minimal amount of credit card information, but such information, and other sensitive personal information required to process a credit decision, is not used for any other purpose by us, and will not be retained any longer than necessary to provide your services, unless a customer requests that we retain credit card information to streamline future purchases.
We send survey invitation e-mails on behalf of our customers to the e-mail addresses they provide. The lists of such e-mail addresses are stored in our system for this purpose.
Custom questions submitted to us for inclusion in surveys are retained by us and may be used in other surveys. We also retain access to the aggregate data resulting from surveys for potential future use.
3. Policy on sharing your information
NuGuava will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to others. NuGuava may share personal information with companies working with a customer on their behalf and any NuGuava-owned business entities for the purposes detailed above. In any such cases, however, we require that the companies or entities adhere to privacy standards and policies at least as restrictive as those NuGuava has in place.
We may use a customer’s information and aggregated data to assist them with survey creation and analysis, and to assist us with the provision of our services in the future.
Users’ survey questions, responses and results are kept confidential. Our use of a customer’s survey questions, responses and results will be protected by being anonymous or by aggregating them with questions and responses and results from other surveys.
If a business uses NuGuava services to send potential participants survey invitations, we collect the e-mail addresses directly from that business. Any written comments on surveys are provided only to the business that has provided us with the contact information. Anonymity of participants providing written comments is not guaranteed if a participant provides information in the written comment fields of surveys. Aggregations of survey questions from an individual and the corresponding customer email address may be provided to the business in efforts to resolve possible service problems.
Survey participants may opt out of receiving future surveys from NuGuava by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link provided in the e-mail from NuGuava.
Circumstances may arise, whether for strategic or other business reasons, in which NuGuava decides to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganize businesses in various countries. Such a transaction may involve the disclosure of personal information to prospective or actual purchasers, or, conversely, the receipt of such personal information from sellers. It is NuGuava’s established practice to seek appropriate protection for all personal information in advance of any such transaction.
5. Access to and accuracy of your information
NuGuava strives to keep customers’ personal information accurate and up-to-date. Towards this goal we utilize various technologies, management processes and policies. NuGuava provides customers with reasonable access to personal information so they may review and correct information if needed. To safeguard privacy and security, we will verify a customer’s identity through various means, such as by requiring a password and/or user ID, before granting access to their data.
We ask that customers update their information as and when it changes so any information used to serve them remains as accurate as possible.

NuGuava values our customers’ trust and takes it seriously. To prevent unauthorized access and disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of our customers’ information, NuGuava utilizes industry standard physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard any personal information we collect.
